Dementia Care
Dementia is an especially difficult condition to live with and requires a high level of quality care. As part of the Music and Memory Group, we offer special exercises to help our dementia patients. Music has been proven to help Dementia patients feel like themselves. Our dementia residents have their own iPod with a playlist of their favorite songs.
Alzheimer’s Care
Alzheimer's is a disease we take seriously. We are members of the National Alzheimer’s Association. Through Memories in the Making, Alzheimer’s patients are encouraged to paint pictures from their memories. Learn about the Memories in the Making program.
Therapeutic & Special Diets
Diet is essential to a successful recovery. At Hillside Medical Lodge, we take care to ensure that each resident’s diet best reflects the needs of their treatment plan.
